Thomson Reuters appoints David Crundwell head of corporate affairs for EMEA

David Crundwell has joined Thomson Reuters as the new head of corporate affairs for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Asia.
Based in London, David will report to Calvin Mitchell, global head of corporate affairs based in New York.
Serving as a spokesman for the organisaton, David will manage media relations and corporate reputation as well as support financial communication and coordinate strategic corporate communications in EMEA and Asia.
David also becomes a member of the Thomson Reuters Marketing & Communications Council, playing a tactical role in the organisation's global corporate affairs activities.
David has held senior roles with organisations including General Motors Corporation, Allen & Overy LLP, and ITN. He has also worked as an independent consultant, advising a wide range of individuals and organisations on reputation management and business affairs both in the UK and overseas.
Prior to his career in communications and marketing, David worked as a stockbroker before leaving to follow his first love of journalism and the media. David is a Board Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, and a member of the UK Government's Expert Advisory Group on HIV.
